But it should be borne in mind that the card comes without RAM, so initially it is worth purchasing one RAM module at once, although in a simple version you can get by with 4 MB of permanent memory, into which the sounds of instruments are already embedded. But if in all previous cards it was possible to use downloadable samples (sound samples) both in music programs and for games, then on this board this function is intended exclusively for working with music. The card itself has a 20-bit audio processor, and the MIDI output is also 20-bit. There is a pre-amplified line output on the card, but it is 16-bit, there is a 20-bit output, and in addition there is a special Hi-Fi MIDI input. I would recommend this card for a home music studio. True, with some stretch, because with the ISA bus in which it is installed, there is no way to work with sound to its fullest.
