ACER F51

Written by

A monitor from Acer is unlikely to surprise you with its design delights; its designers created, first of all, ease of use.
nii device, every little detail in which is thought out and time-tested. Control is carried out from the on-screen menu using four buttons, while the fifth launches the automatic adjustment function, which bears the proprietary name *i key* By the way, to check the image quality and fine-tune the monitor, there is a special program that displays a test table.
The trump card of the monitor is a high-quality LCD matrix. Thanks to it, contrasting elements of the image are very clear. At the same time, there is no “super-sharpness” effect, when the raster dots are clearly visible in the halftone areas and the picture becomes grainy. Conversely, the light gray toolbars and scroll bars on the F51’s screen remain uniform.
In tests for image inertia, the monitor also performed well. There is almost no blurring when scrolling quickly. But in dynamic games, we still found deterioration during sharp turns, which we
seriously surprised. Perhaps this is due to the use of “non-native” resolutions – for 3D-action, the 1024 x 768 pixels mode is still rarely used. As a result, the Acer F51 is an excellent monitor, quite versatile, although it is less suitable for games than for other tasks.
