exeFinding the perfect icon to represent a program isn’t a hassle if you use Icon Snatcher. Icons can be extracted from any EXE or DLL, or any other file that contains icon images. These embedded icon images can then be copied to the clipboard or saved as either ICO, BMP or GIF files. Icons can be viewed and saved in either 16×16 or 32×32 format. The Icon Snatcher interface is well laid out, the location of files on the left and the embedded icons of a file on the right. You may not have a need for Icon Snatcher at the moment, but when the search for the perfect icon begins be sure that your first course of action is this program.
